Kidney disease is such a major concern. My husband is a Kidney Cancer survivor. Usually discovered by accident, Kidney Cancer is a killer. Luckily my husband’s 7 cm tumour was found during an ultrasound for Gallbladder issues. His kidney was removed, the cancer was then analyzed and discovered to be photochromatic Kidney cancer. Found early enough and removed no chemo or radiation was needed. Now he lives with one kidney and no salt 😉
According to AI: Chromophobe renal cell carcinoma (chRCC) is a rare type of kidney cancer (5% of cases) that originates from cells in the distal nephron, often having a better prognosis than common renal cell carcinomas.
